Luxury villa sleeping up to six

Our contemporary villa can accommodate up to eight.  There is a master bedroom which looks out through french windows to the garden.  This peaceful bedroom has the benefit of a large and spacious his and hers dressing room with enormous storage, complete with wall safe.

It comes complete with a luxury bathroom with jacuzzi bath.   The entrance to the master bedroom is private and can be separated from the rest of the house.  Dressing room ahead, bedroom to left.

The second bedroom also overlooks the garden. As does the third bedroom.

The fouth occasional bedroom looks out over the sea. This is also the second lounge complete with cable tv.  It provides access to the terrace area and has wonderful views.

The villa has a ground floor and a top floor terrace, which are extremely spacious, as they have been designed to span the whole width of the house - thus making the most of the views.  It is sheltered and sunny. It has wonderful views of the surrounding areas. Please note that the plunge pool is only open in summer.

You can have breakfast on either terrace, whilst watching the cruise liners leave the nearby port.  The sea view constantly changes with the passing small fishing boats, plus the leisure craft that cruise up and down the waters.  Wildlife is abundant - from the flying seagulls and local birds, to even spotting the odd whale swimming by.

The lower terrace is a restful place to sit, and there are sheltered areas from the sun.

The lower veranda is a great place for sunbathing and parties.

There are views to be had from every room, as the open plan living room and dining room have wide french windows.

The dining room has great views and is a fantastic entertaining space.

The kitchen even has a sea view, as does the fourth bedroom.

The other bedrooms face onto a landscaped raised garden stretching the entire width of the house.  They all have french windows facing the garden and are quiet and peaceful.  The back of the house is completely private and not overlooked.  In one corner, there is an outdoor barbeque for entertaining and a separate outdoor area for eating

Again, this is a lovely quiet spot, surrounded by the local flowers from the garden.

The house is warm and sunny all year round.  The water to the house is solar powered which provides excellent quantities of hot water to the two bathrooms.  Both bathrooms are elegantly designed with granite surfaces.

The master bathroom has a jacuzzi bath, and the modern shower room has a powerful shower.

The kitchen is well equipped with all the modern labour saving devices, including an American fridge freezer dispensing ice and water.

The laundry room has a washing machine, traditional Madeiran scrubbing sink and an adjacent tumbler dryer.  The dryer only needs using occasionally, as there is ample outside space to dry clothes and plenty of sunshine.

As the house faces south and is only a little above sea level, the temperature on the terrace is always between 3 and 5 degrees hotter than in Funchal.  The temperatures for Madeira traditionally range from 16 to 19 at night year round, and 19 to 26 during the day year round.  This makes Madeira an ideal spot for year round holidays - neither too hot in the summer, nor too cold in the winter.

The villa has the benefit of being all on one floor with the exception of the fourth bedroom.  This is ideal for guests who may have mobility problems.  The street entrance houses the garage where there is ample room for up to three cars.

There is a full size pool table provided for guests.
